Banque Havilland supports the Red Cross in Luxembourg

Banque Havilland has decided to donate EUR 100.000 to the Red Cross in Luxembourg, in an effort to help those most affected by the consequences of the global Covid-19 pandemic.

The global health crisis caused by Covid-19 has shown how the most vulnerable groups of the society are also the most exposed to the overall consequences of the pandemic – total or partial loss of income, increased social isolation, psychological distress and threats to living standards.
The Red Cross in Luxembourg has actively engaged to reduce the long term impact of Covid-19 outbreak and adopted their activities to keep helping those in need through distribution of protective gear and the setup of an assistance centre for those infected by the virus.

Lars Rejding, Group CEO Banque Havilland S.A. explains: “In the context of the COVID-19 crisis, our organization wishes to make a strong commitment to the Luxembourgish society. Under current extraordinary circumstances, the need for action and support to the most exposed and fragile individuals of our society is important to us. We are very pleased and proud to support the excellent job that Red Cross Luxembourg is doing in this regard.”
