Fabian Käslin appointed as new CEO of Banque Havilland (Liechtenstein) AG
Banque Havilland S.A. is pleased to announce that the Board of Directors of its subsidiary, Banque Havilland (Liechtenstein) AG, has appointed Fabian Käslin as CEO effective from March 1, 2023, subject to regulatory approval.
He succeeds Zorica Lipovac, Deputy CEO of Banque Havilland (Liechtenstein) AG, who successfully ensured the transition period after Marc Arand, who has already taken over the Group Management of Banque Havilland in Luxembourg as of April 1, 2022.
With the appointment of Fabian Käslin, Banque Havilland (Liechtenstein) AG strengthens its focus on growth in both offices locations, Vaduz and its branch Zurich. The declared goal is to continue to grow in the international and traditionally cross-border markets.
Käslin joins the Bank from BIL Suisse. Most recently, he played a key role in the realignment of BIL Suisse as CFO and COO. Prior to that, he held various senior positions at Julius Baer – mainly in Latin America and the EMEA region. He started his career at UBS almost 15 years ago.
Fabian Käslin said: “I am extremely pleased to be given the opportunity to lead Banque Havilland (Liechtenstein) AG. With our clear focus on pure wealth management, short lines of communication, international group structure and an entrepreneurial family as owners, we are well equipped to attract further skilled client advisors in the coming years and to establish ourselves as a unique boutique in Liechtenstein and Switzerland. I would like to thank the Board of Directors of Liechtenstein for the trust they have placed in me.”
Group CEO Marc Arand commented: “With Fabian Käslin, we have gained an outstanding Swiss leader who is multicultural, multilingual and whose experience and skills are widely recognised – in the front as well as the operations teams, in Luxembourg and Switzerland. We are confident that his appointment will enable us to usher in the next phase of growth in Zurich and Vaduz.”
